MTN Nigeria, the biggest telecommunication service provider in Nigeria with over 62.8million active lines, about 43% as at June 2015 according to the Nigerian Communication Commission, NCC. The company also provides ICT solutions to millions of Nigerians, connecting communities with each other and with the rest of the world. MTN has led the growth in the voice market since 2001 and is now pursuing new growth opportunities in the data and ICT space. This lead position is evident in a differentiated and attractive array of product and service offerings, a growing bouquet of ICT products and over 58 million subscribers.

MTN also provides network coverage to 74.56% of Nigeria’s land mass, while about 87.15% of the population have access to MTN services.

Today, MTN is Nigeria’s leading ICT company, employing over 5,800 staff, with Nigerians accounting for 99% of this number. MTN is also committed to providing a distinct customer experience with 406 walk-in centres across Nigeria.
Years ahead will be very exciting for MTN Nigeria with the report of its going public on the Nigeria Stock Exchange NSE. Also the news of the acquisition of a pay TV license from the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission NBC which will allow MTN to operate a pay TV.

The foundation clocked 10years old this year. MTN was the first telecommunications company in Nigeria to establish a Foundation.
