DUFIL Prima Foods: Crafting Culinary Excellence, Nourishing Lives

DUFIL Prima Foods is a topmost consumer goods conglomerate that has become an integral part of Nigerian households. Renowned for its diverse portfolio, which includes noodles, edible oils, pasta, snacks, and more, DUFIL Prima Foods has established itself as a symbol of culinary excellence and wholesome nourishment across the country.

The story of DUFIL Prima Foods began in 1996 with the launch of its flagship brand, Indomie, at its manufacturing plant in Ota, Ogun State. As a pioneer in the instant noodles industry in Nigeria, Indomie set the stage for what would become Africa’s largest instant noodles manufacturing facility at the time.

From its modest beginnings with a team of 500 employees, DUFIL Prima Foods has grown into a thriving enterprise, now employing over 1,500 dedicated Nigerians. The company’s mission is centered around offering a diverse array of nutritious, healthy, and high-quality products to its customers.

DUFIL Prima Foods was born out of a strategic joint venture between the Tolaram Group of Singapore and the Salim Group of Indonesia, each holding a 50:50 stake until 2018. The company’s management landscape has since evolved, with the current structure including Salim Group of Indonesia and Toleram Africa Food Pvt, a joint venture between Tolaram Group and Kellogg’s from the United States.

The heart of DUFIL’s success lies in its ability to create products that resonate with a wide demographic. Under the Indomie and Minimie Noodles brands, the company offers an assortment of flavors that appeal to various palates. The Power Pasta brand introduces sumptuous spaghetti, while Power Oil provides healthy vegetable cooking oil. Additionally, Minimie Chinchin offers ready-to-eat snacks that cater to the on-the-go consumer, blending convenience with flavor.

As DUFIL Prima Foods continues to blend innovation with tradition, it remains a true pioneer in the industry, dedicated to nourishing lives and crafting culinary excellence across Nigeria and beyond.
