Moove Africa is a Nigerian-born and a global mobility start-up that was founded in response to the challenge faced by over 2 million Africa mobility entrepreneurs- the lack of access to vehicle financing
Moove provides revenue-based vehicle financing and financial services to mobility entrepreneurs across ride-hailing, logistics, mass transit, and instant delivery platforms. it is an impact-led business, backed by some of the world’s leading investors, providing sustainable job creation and a path to asset ownership for customers that have been previously excluded from financial services.
What initially started in Lagos in 2020 has now expanded to many other cities across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa, with a new expansion into 7 more emerging markets in Europe, Asia and the middle East after its recent round of funding.
Launched in 2020 by Jide Odunsin and Ladi Delano, Moove uses a credit scoring system to provide vehicle financing to customers to purchase new vehicles for ride hailing, logistics and deliveries, using a percentage of their weekly revenue. Moove is democratizing vehicle ownership to empower mobility entrepreneurs globally.
Moove vision is to build the Largest Integrated Vehicle Financing Platform for Mobility Entrepreneurs using Technology & Future Productivity.
‘We pride ourselves on being a mission-led company that empowers its customers to earn their way to asset ownership through a sustainable source of employment’ – Lasi Delano, One of the co-founders
